Reservations:
All reservations are made based on the vehicle category, not for a specific model. In the
event of unavailability of a vehicle in the category pre-selected by the customer, always with
reference to a confirmed reservation, Nanos Car Rental reserves the right to provide the
customer with a higher category car, without additional charge to the customer.
Driver:
The minimum driver age is 20 years old, a valid driver's license must have been held for at
least 2 years.
For young drivers under the age of 21, an additional charge of 7.00 EUR for young drivers
applies, with a maximum total charge of 70.00 EUR.
For elderly drivers aged 71 to 75, an additional charge of 7.00 EUR per day for elderly drivers
applies, with a maximum total charge of 70.00 EUR.
Additional Drivers
The maximum number of drivers per contract is 3.
Driving License:
A valid driver's license issued in Greek territory and in the EU is required, issued at least 2
years before the start date of the rental. Citizens of countries outside the EU must have a
valid international driver's license, in addition to the issuance of the national driver's license.
Further proof of the driver's identity and address is required.
Fines, Tolls, and Charges
Customers are responsible for all toll fees, congestion charges, speeding fines, parking fines,
and other fines - and for all administrative costs incurred from these.

Cross-border policy is limited.
MAINLAND DELIVERY / FERRY TRANSPORT: Only allowed with prior approval from NANOS
CAR RENTAL and provided that the renter has accepted the Ferry Boat coverage. Otherwise,
the renter is responsible for all damages that may have occurred for any reason to the rented
vehicle during its transportation, regardless of any coverage limitations and liabilities
accepted and paid at the start of the rental. Ferry Boat coverage is at an additional cost of 4 €
per day.
Transport and driving of the car outside the borders of the Hellenic Republic is prohibited.
Cleaning Fees:
If the vehicle requires more than the usual cleaning to restore it to the condition it was in
before the rental, you will be asked to pay a cleaning fee. Cleaning fees. Allowing for normal
wear and tear.
Cleaning fees at a cost of EUR 15 per hour, including tax, with a maximum charge of EUR 150.
Mileage Policy:
Prices include unlimited mileage for rentals of 3 days and above.
To ensure the quality of our vehicles and services, NANOS CAR RENTAL has implemented a
fair use policy for all unlimited mileage products. NANOS CAR RENTAL reserves the right to
take any necessary action or impose penalties if, in the opinion of NANOS CAR RENTAL, a
customer's use is deemed excessive / abusive.

Fuel Policies
Refueling Charge:
If you return your car with less fuel than it had at pickup, the car rental company will
withhold part of the deposit or even the full amount to cover the fuel shortage. It will cost
you more than the amount you would pay yourself to fill the tank. In addition to the cost of
fuel, you will pay a non-refundable fuel service charge of EUR 15 including tax.
Additional Services (payable at the counter)
Extra Equipment Requirements:
Equipment Rules:
A replacement fee equal to EUR 200 will be charged if the equipment is lost, damaged, or
stolen.
Out-of-Hours Charges:
Operating hours are from 07:00 to 23:59 daily.
Deliveries or pickups outside of business hours incur a charge of 25 euros.
Should there be a flight delay, the car hire company will wait for the client until 01:00am, as
long as the client informs the car hire company prior to the car pick up.
Deliveries and collections between 12:00am to 06:59am, are not available.
NANOS CAR RENTAL - Important Information
Reservation Agreement
To ensure that you understand the rules and laws for driving a rented car domestically and
internationally, it is important to fully read the Terms & Conditions before you proceed to
pick up your car.
Specifically, please ensure you are aware of what documents and other paperwork you need
to bring with you (e.g., driver's license, identification documents - passport/ID card, payment
card) and what you need to pay at the rental company's counter. If you do not have
everything you need, the car rental company may not allow you to take the car.
By making this reservation, you confirm that you have read and accepted our Terms and
Conditions.
When you pick up your car, our staff will ask you to sign the rental agreement. Please make
sure you have read it carefully - and if anything is unclear, discuss it with us before signing.
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your rental, it is very important to discuss this at
that time.

Information Regarding Currency Exchange Rates and Charges
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any fluctuations in the exchange rate or
for charges from your bank and credit card issuer. Thus, the amount you see on your credit
card statement may differ from the amount you saw when making the reservation. Similarly,
in the event we credit any amount to your account, we will refund you the amount initially charged.
Car Rental Company Important Information
Company Rules
In case of an accident or other event, the renter must follow these steps:
1. Call the customer support line at (0030) 6970886043.
2. Call the police at 100.
3. Do not accept any liability until responsibility is determined by the traffic officers who have
arrived at the accident scene. A police incident report from NANOS CAR RENTAL will be
required.
4. Take photos and record names of witnesses, license plates, and names of drivers of the
other vehicle(s) involved.
In case of damage or mechanical problems, you must immediately call the NANOS CAR
RENTALS Support Center.
If the damage or accident is not the fault of the NANOS CAR RENTALS customer, then the
customer is entitled to replacement of the vehicle or repair within 24 hours of the incident.
Lost Keys - If you lose your key(s), you will be charged the cost of replacement.
Seat Belt Policy - The driver and passengers must wear seat belts wherever seated in the
car.
Please be aware that all cars have a no-smoking policy.
Fines will be imposed if this policy is not adhered to.
Price Calculation - Prices are based on the pickup and drop-off times and dates you
agree upon before the start of your rental. If you choose to pick up the car later or return it
earlier, there is no refund for unused time.
Upon pickup, the customer may choose to take a different car than the one reserved for
them. If they do, they may incur an additional insurance or other charge, even if the new car
is smaller than their initial choice.
If the customer desires delivery/return to a different location than agreed upon, there may
be a charge.
The customer will be charged a late fee of EUR 25 per day including tax plus the daily rental
rate if the car is returned late. Customers should also be aware that The insurance will no
longer be valid, and the customer will be responsible for any damages. The authorities will
also be informed that the vehicle is no longer legally rented.
There will be a grace period of 30 minutes for the return of all vehicles.
Child seats as well as boosters are installed by the renter and driver of the vehicle at their
own risk upon pickup.
Transportation of a pet inside the car is allowed provided a special transport box is used, and
the vehicle is protected from any dirt, hair, or other damages that may occur. Failure to
comply will result in charges.
Cancellations, No Shows & Changes
Cancellations & No Shows
Cancellation of a Fully Prepaid Reservation:
- If you cancel 96 hours or more before your rental start, you will receive a full refund.
- If you cancel within 96 hours of pickup, you will receive a refund minus the cost of 3 rental
days.
- If you keep the car for less than 3 days, there will be no additional charge, but you will not
receive any refund.
- If you fail to show up at the agreed time and date, or fail to provide all necessary
documents, or fail to provide a credit card with sufficient available balance, the car rental
company may deny you the car.
In all these cases, you will not receive any refund of the money you have paid.
NANOS CAR RENTALS reserves the right to refuse the car to any customer who cannot arrive
for the car deposit. In such a case, unless the rental has been canceled in advance, the
customer will not be entitled to a refund.
If the customer wishes to extend the rental or make any changes after receiving the car, they
must inform us as soon as possible.
For changes to the pickup time, the customer is advised to inform us as soon as possible and
at least 24 hours in advance.
For returning the car, the customer is advised to inform us as soon as possible and at least 48
hours in advance.
Standard Coverage Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Covers the renter's liability for damages to the rented vehicle - provided that the damage is
not due to a violation of the Traffic Code, with a deductible amount:
- 650 EUR for car groups: MINI, SUPER MINI, OPEN TOP, ECONOMY.
